Have a lawyer review this page before publishing. I removed two clauses from your old text because they are unlikely to be enforceable against EU consumers and they hurt trust: that customers waive their right to complain, and that designs made on the site become Giohel’s property. I also removed ‘we are not responsible for mistakes in the product description’. If you want to keep any of them, ask your lawyer how to word them.

1. Who we are

2. Your account

You may need an account to use some features. Keep your username and password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Placing an order

You must be over 18, or have your parent or guardian’s permission. Choose a product, select its options (materials, colours and features), add it to the cart and check out with your shipping details and payment method. The price is shown as you choose. After checkout you receive an email with your order number. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example because of a price error or unavailable materials. If you have already paid, we refund you.

4. Prices

Prices are in euros and include VAT or the applicable indirect tax. Shipping is free worldwide. Customs duties, import taxes and tariffs may apply depending on the destination country and are paid by the customer. We may change prices, but not for orders already confirmed.

5. Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Discover, Alipay, PayPal and bank transfer. Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal, and we do not store your payment details. Card payments are charged at checkout. Bank transfers are processed within 48 to 72 hours, and we start your order when the payment reaches our account.

6. Production and delivery

Every pair is made to order. The estimated production time (usually 4 to 8 weeks) is shown on the product page and is not a guaranteed delivery date. Special orders and busy periods can take longer, and we will keep you informed of any delay. We commit to deliver your order within 2 months of order confirmation, unless we agree a different date with you for a special order. Delivery times, delivery conditions and what to do with a damaged parcel are on our Shipping and Delivery page. We may split an order into several deliveries.

7. Made-to-order products

Because each pair is made for you, you can change or cancel an order only within 48 hours of placing it. After that, production has started and the full order value is charged. Leather and other natural materials vary in colour, shade and texture. Product images are mock-ups, so your pair may differ slightly from the photo.

8. Returns, corrections and your legal rights

Our Returns page explains how corrections, remakes and exchanges work. Under EU consumer law, goods made to your measurements or personalised for you are not covered by the 14-day right of withdrawal. Ready-to-ship pairs can be exchanged as described on the Returns page. These terms do not affect your legal rights if goods are not as described or are defective.

9. Designs

Giohel keeps all rights in its own models, photographs and designs. If you send us a design of your own, you confirm that you have the right to use it. We may decline a design that infringes someone else’s rights or does not fit our brand. For custom designs we send sketches for your approval before production, and we use your design only to make your order unless you agree otherwise.

10. Intellectual property

The website’s content (design, text, graphics, logos and images) is protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, change, distribute or exploit it commercially without our written permission.
